I made my hat purchase during Holland’s Kerstmarkt. I had lost my favorite winter hat several years ago and had not been able to find a substitute until now. The quality and warmth of this hat surpasses my old hat!! What a find! We were so impressed, we looked up Shady Side Farms and see that there’s even a lot more to you than what we saw at Kerstmarkt. The best beans I’ve ever tasted. Cooking dry beans is sadly becoming a lost culinary skill. Your local grocery stores will only have black beans or pintos at best. Do yourself a favor and try the heirloom varieties. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Love the cone of unwashed yarn and will be back for another cone. When you first get this it is tightly spun and still oiled from spinning. It might look more like string than yarn, but I knew what it would do when washed and I was not disappointed. With some warm water and a shampoo conditioner rinse, it bloomed into a lovely, clean, soft round yarn. It is wonderful stuff. I’m very happy with this.

These dryer balls work wonderfully and are well made! I’ve been using them to reduce/eliminate static and they’ve done well on everything from clothing to towels to sheets. I highly recommend them as a replacement for dryer sheets–just remember that these fluff and reduce static, they do not make your clothes softer.

Roving shipped very quickly, and I was very excited when I received it. I couldn’t start spinning it fast enough. I have never spun Polypay before, but I find it similar to Shetland, which is one of my favorite wools. It’s springy and soft, and I love the colors.
