Description
This bean was taken back to Spain from the New World by Spanish missionaries. Also known as the Prince bean, it is rich and creamy with a mild flavor, and holds its shape well. Excellent for chili, salads, and more!

I must review this bean! I have cooked and consumed the Shady Side Farm Tolosana bean. I found them to be true to the description on the website.
I would add- versatile, as I used them in a salad and re-fried as a side to enchiladas. I used the old fashioned overnight soak. Cooked one cup dry bean per session, makes enough for two meals for two people.
