Description
Valentine Beans were commercially introduced to the US in 1897, but grown widely before 1850. These beans are similar to kidney beans, but with a thinner skin and a rich, nutty flavor. Great for salads, soups and dips, they differ from the more common black turtle beans in that they are larger and more shiny.
