Our comforters are made of our own 100% virgin wool, raised on our farm north of Holland. The wool is sent to a mill in Frankenmuth, Michigan for processing. They send back the cleaned, carded wool batts that have been stitched into a cheesecloth liner, ready to put in your duvet cover. Each comforter requires between 5 and 10 pounds of raw wool, providing you with natural warmth and luxurious comfort without the heavy weight of other materials.
Twin — 60″ x 90″ (2.5 lb. of wool)
Full — 81″ x 90″ (3.5 lb. of wool)
Queen — 90″ x 90″ (4 lb. of wool)
King — 108″ x 90″ (5 lb. of wool)
Comforters need to be placed inside a duvet cover (available at most home-goods stores). Launder and/or replace the duvet cover, and keep the wool comforter insert for years and years. Air out once or twice a year or dry clean.
