Ingredients
Salad:

cup
uncooked spelt berries
1
cup
uncooked Lina Cisco's Bird Egg beans

pear, cored and cut up
2/3
cup
dried cranberries or raisins
Dressing:
3
tbsp
extra virgin olive oil
3
tbsp
balsamic vinegar
1/2
tsp
salt
1/4
tsp
black pepper
Instructions
Rinse and presoak beans and spelt berries; discard soaking water.
Place together in saucepan with 4 cups water. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium, and continue cooking 30-40 minutes.
Drain and let cool. Add other ingredients. Serve cold.
