Two Bean Sausage Rice Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Jacob’s Cattle beans
  • 1 cup Jacob’s Cattle Gold beans
  • 1 lb. pork sausage
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Soak and cook beans in water until fork tender.
  • Brown sausage while beans are cooking.
  • Drain and rinse beans.
  • Combine all ingredients and cook for 30-45 minutes longer.
