Two Bean Sausage Rice Soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup Jacob’s Cattle beans
- 1 cup Jacob’s Cattle Gold beans
- 1 lb. pork sausage
- 8 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup rice
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 onion chopped
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak and cook beans in water until fork tender.
- Brown sausage while beans are cooking.
- Drain and rinse beans.
- Combine all ingredients and cook for 30-45 minutes longer.
