Spanish Tolosana Certified Organic Heirloom Dry Beans

(1 customer review)

This bean was taken back to Spain from the New World by Spanish missionaries. Also known as the Prince bean, it is rich and creamy with a mild flavor, and holds its shape well. Excellent for chili, salads, and more!

Shady Side Farm is located in Holland, Michigan, and specializes in providing locally grown organic products.

I must review this bean! I have cooked and consumed the Shady Side Farm Tolosana bean. I found them to be true to the description on the website.
I would add- versatile, as I used them in a salad and re-fried as a side to enchiladas. I used the old fashioned overnight soak. Cooked one cup dry bean per session, makes enough for two meals for two people.
